Awesome | From: Buck Huffman Used: 4 to 7 years Comments: This is the best basic compiler by far, creates fast machine code programs and has a high degree of compatability with other basics. Microsoft's pcode compilers can't even come close. |
Awesome | From: Arthur Gould Used: > 7 years Comments: I started out with PowerBasic version 1.0 when Mr. Zale was with Borland steadily progressing where I just updated to PBCC a couple of months ago. Nothing else available even comes close to the robust set of commands and features available in PowerBasic 3.5 or PBCC. Very Good | From: Undisclosed Used: 4 to 7 years Comments: I got a copy of powerbasic several years ago for dos. It is by far the most capable and feature rich version of basic ever produced for dos macines. The newer windows based versions are pretty darn cool also, a strong alternative to visualbasic. |
