STEP-BY-STEP on how to run Reader
STEP 1: |
Download the DOS Reader
|
STEP 2: |
PKUNZIP or use WINZIP to extract files |
STEP 3: |
Run ACR.EXE
If it runs, good. If not, then e-mail me. |
STEP 4: |
Download an All Code Packet (not ABC!)
None yet available, but you can try ACB-1995.ZIP (750KB)

STEP 5: |
UNZIP it (ACB-1995.ZIP) to your All Code Reader directory
If you don't know how, there's no hope for you :) |
STEP 6: |
Run ACR.EXE again.
A message should popup, say Yes

STEP 7: |
Hilight *.* and hit the ENTER key
If everything installs ok, good. If not, e-mail me. |
STEP 8: |
Have fun using the crippled reader! |
STEP-BY-STEP on how to convert *.ABC
STEP 1: |
Assuming that you already have *.ABC files on your system. This converter WILL NOT convert .CDE files. |
STEP 2: |
Download special converter A2C.ZIP
It's fully automated, but please read on...

STEP 3: |
UNZIP the A2C.ZIP file to the directory where your *.ABC files reside. Now go to that directory. |
STEP 4: |
First, create a directory called NEW
|
STEP 5: |
Now run the batch file called A.BAT
Just type A at the prompt. |
STEP 6: |
Wait for the batch to finish, IGNORE ALL ERRORS! |
STEP 7: |
Your converted files should now reside in the NEW directory. |
